RENTOKIL PEST CONTROL CELEBRATES VAUGHANSDAY

21st March 2006

Rentokil Pest Control celebrated a very special day on the 21st March - Vaughansday.

On this auspicious day, Vaughan Davies, Customer Support Manager from the Pest Control Cardiff Branch, had completed 40 years of service with Rentokil.

Vaughan began working for the Company as a Service Technician in 1966 and through the years progressed to Surveyor and then onto his current position as Customer Support Manager.

On the 21st of March, every member of staff wore a Vaughansday T-shirt and Vaughansday cakes were given to the longest serving customers across the country.

This special day has been organised to recognise Vaughan for his efforts over the years and to thank our customers too, many of which have been with us even longer than Vaughan!

Each of the 26 Rentokil branches also had their own unique celebrations too, designed to thank our tremendous employees across the county.

During the day Vaughan spent time with key customers and the media, completing radio, newspaper and TV interviews across the country. BBC TV Wales are now in the process of filming Vaughan for his own show!

The day was completed with a surprise evening buffet at St David’s Bay Hotel in Cardiff where Vaughan celebrated with his old colleagues, friends, and customers from the past 40 years.
